Wednesdays for our community are Kami Band Wednesdays, is the Kami Band Day and our second post about Kami Band is for the young and incredibly talented "Leda Cygnus". Read below about the first member of the current Kami Band formation.
Knowing the God Of Guitar, Leda Cygnus
Shinji Yuuto, is better known as "Leda Cygnus". This very young and extremely talented guitarist, bassist and composer was born on June 9 of 1987 on Mie, which is part of the Kansai region on the main Honshu island, the capital is the city of Tsu.
He started to play guitar at 14 years old, after some time on High School formed the band Crimson Head using his name "Yuuto" for the band. Then when Leda graduated from High School moved to Tokyo to study and be part of the Musicians Institute of Japan in Tokyo.
On 2006 he formed the band Grave Seed, and one year later as parallel project on February of 2007 he joined as bassist in the fabulous power metal band Galneryus using "Yu-To" as stage name. Galneryus recruited "Yu-To" when the bassist Tsui left the band. With Yu-To the band released the fourth album "One For All - All For One" on August 22 of 2007.
For February of 2008, Grave Seed had some changes on their band members and changed the name to "DELUHI". With the visual kei, metalcore and alternative metal band "DELUHI", Leda recruited "Juri" as vocalist when the band changed the name.
On March 26 they released "Surveillance"
On October and with Galneryus, Yu-To released the first cover album "Voices From The Past".
On September of 2009 and before the band played at the Loud Park Festival Yu-To left the band to continued his career with DELUHI.
Two months after Leda left Galneryus with DELUHI he released "Yggdalive" on November 4 of 2009 reaching the #91 position of the Oricon Weekly Chart.
On March 14 of 2010, along with Mikio Fujioka and Takayoshi Ohmura plus several artists was released "Metallical Astronomy". Leda was part of the songs "Satellite XXX" and "Scarlet Desire" playing guitar.
For December of 2010 DELUHI announced publically that the band will take a hiatus after their concert at Shibuya O-east, sadly on April 1 of 2011 the band announced that they would disband after their final tour to end on July of the same year.
After DELUHI disbanded, Leda founded the band Undivide on September of 2012 as his solo project releasing the Album "Undivide". The album had 10 songs featuring the lead Single "The Catalyst". Soon, the drummer Sujk and the vocalist Kihiro from LOKA joined to the Leda's project.
Also on October Leda released "Cygnushred", a DVD where Leda showed his guitar playing method of all songs of his first solo Album, in the demonstrations he played "The Catalyst" "Minds Up" and "13 AM". The DVD on CD Japan is considered as "Collectible Item", can be found here.
On October 6 of 2012, BABYMETAL entered in the Leda's life. Leda debuted as God of Guitar. Kami Band debuted live as well at Shibuya O-East for the Legend I show. That date Kami Band played the songs "Head Bangya" and "Ijime, Dame, Zettai", the first songs with a live band in the stage.
For December 28 of 2012 Leda released "Materials Left Aside", the mini album had 5 songs, the last one "White Hole" as instrumental tune.
On February 1 of 2013, Leda played again as BABYMETAL Kami Band member for the Legend Z Show at Zepp Tokyo, this time along with the current
members Takayoshi Ohmura (debuted in this show) and Hideki Aoyama (debuted in this show), while the bassist was IKUO.
A month after, Undivide officially disbanded.. Later on April Leda appeared on the stage of the TM Revolution and then in July in the revival of the live show of Daigo Stardust.
On May of 2013, Leda was part of the Kami Band formation of the first BABYMETAL tour, "Babymetal Death Match Tour 'May Revolution'" playing 4 live shows along with Hideki Aoyama on the drums, Takayoshi Ohmura on the first guitar and Boh on the bass (Boh debuted in the first show of the tour on May 10).
Leda also was part of the Kami Band formation for the Shows: Legend 1999 on June 30 at NHK Hall, Summer Sonic 2013 shows and Legend 1997 at Makuhari Messe.
On March 1 and 2 of 2014 Leda was part of the BABYMETAL Shows at Nippon Budokan.
Leda also was part of the BABYMETAL World Tour on, France, Germany, England (Sonisphere and The Forum shows) on July of 2014, United States (The Fonda) on July of 2014 and part of the support performances for Lady Gaga artRave Tour, he also played at Heavy Montreal Festival on August of 2014 and the World Tour closing sold out shows at Makuhari Messe on September of 2014.
Leda also was part of the "BABYMETAL Back To The US/UK Tour 2014" along with Takayoshi Ohmura, Boh and Yuya Maeta.
On January 30 of 2015, Leda removed all his latest tweets from his official Twitter account (thousands of tweets), and changed his account to FED_Leda. After that he shared a Twitter account of a new band called Far East Dizian. With that Leda, confirmed his brand new project announced that day, with a great formation and great information added to their site.
Leda's new band Far East Dizain announced on January 30 their first Single EP called "Dizainize" to be released on April 8 of the same year.
In addition, FED announced the official formation, Keita on vocals, Leda on guitar, Ryu on bass and Sujk on drums (ex Deluhi member).
Shinji Yuuto, better known as Leda Cygnus/FED Leda is one of the most active Kami Band members since BABYMETAL started to play with the live band in 2012.

"BABYMETAL" (2014) playing guitar for the songs "Akatsuki" and "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" (not confirmed information).
"Shomei" (2014) of Eri Kitamura as arranger, guitar, bass and shamisen for the song "SHOEN" and as composer, arranger and guitar for the song "Nonfictionista".
